![]() My head is hurting and I am now kicking myself that I started this 'simple' process prior to the EOY! If I upgrade the Windows to use RDP can everyone access that file in real time or would I have to install 5 different copies of that file so others can access it? I would buy Parallels for the Macs & multiple copies of Windows$$$ but that will not help the guys working on IPADS on the job! Can I store the file in one drive/dropbox and they access it from there? I thought I could just access the file by RDP but alas RDP does not work with the home edition of Windows. I will probably discover more things as I go along. We cannot also access the bank register at all. These 2 items are what our employees need to access the most. We now have discovered that our Sales and Purchase orders are read-only online. ![]() Great I thought, so I don't have to go to XERO. After chatting to a very friendly & helpful salesperson I was led to believe that after I purchased a Pc and installed the file on it everyone else would be able to access everything (bar a few things like multi-currency and time billing) online. I hadn't migrated prior, as AR would not work on Macs. ![]() Fearing the Server will decide to expire at the least opportune time I started the process of looking at other software. Our business uses Macs and have been logging into an, extremely, old Windows server. We have recently converted from the old V19 to AccountRight. I am after help with what is the most cost-efficient way to set up AR online in a Mac environment.
